Garden Pride 14ft wide x 24ft long Polytunnel - The Ideal Family Polytunnel
The 14ft wide Garden Pride Polytunnel range is a popular option for families growing their own vegetables and fruit in their gardens or allotments. Using our highly durable block ALUMINIUM cladding rails to attach the 1000G UV treated Polythene to the steel structure, gives a tighter clad structure. No perishable plastic or wire inserts are used. The steel structure is straight sided to give 6ft comfortable standing height at the sides and also promotes better air circulation for plants. Also included are our steel crop supports on internal hoops for suspending shelves or plants from. The Sliding Aluminium Door allows for easy access at the front and a zip up/down pvc polyflap to seal up the rear net vent.

Ground Rails: How is polythene attached?
Aluminium Cladding system (Garden Pride range): Polythene is attached to the polytunnel structure by clipping in polythene with aluminium inserts to the block aluminum ground rail and uprights in gable ends.
Polythene Options:
Option 1: The standard polythene we use is a 1000G Thermic Anti-Drip Polythene. This is a clear film with the additional benefits of Thermic and Anti-drip properties.
'Thermic' - raises the temperature of the internal temperature by approx.1 to 2 Degrees celsius above the outside temperature.
'Anti-Drip' or 'Anti-Fog' - condensation evaporates or rolls off the polythene.
Option 2: Diffused Thermic 840G Polythene - This is a diffused film with the additional benefits of been Thermic.
'Thermic' - raises the temperature of the internal temperature by approx.1 to 2 Degrees celsius above the outside temperature.
'Diffused' - the sun's rays are 'dispersed' or 'diffused' to prevent plant scorching. The same amount of light is allowed in.
Polythene Warranty: A manufacturer's warranty against UVI degradation of the polythene is 5-6 years depending on the type of polythene picked. This warranty does not cover accidental damage, malicious damage, storm damage or general wear and tear etc.
